This mainly involves creating pieces to wear by knitting or crocheting with fine wire and adding beads or other embellishments. There are plenty of patterns to follow or time can be spent creating a new design. A basic knowledge of knitting helps but the day can cater for a range of expertise. The aim is to have fun and go home with something beautiful to wear.

Broken cane seated chairs can be bought very cheaply so if you don’t have one sitting in a bedroom with a cushion covering the hole they are easy to find.
